信息技术 provides technology and technology support services to Roane State 社区 College students, 教职员工. IT strives to provide the most up-to-date technology possible to support the administrative needs and facilitate the teaching and learning mission of Roane State 社区 College.

The 行政管理系统 of Roane State 社区 College is staffed by a Director, Systems Analyst and Programmers. This department is responsible for Administrative and Academic computing support. This support entails the man年龄ment of all Banner systems which includes Human Resources, 工资, 金融, 学生资讯系统, 和自助服务模块. The department also maintains and supports the Luminis Portal, 学位工作, UC4, ePrint, 横幅文件影像套件, 印威世IntelleCheck, FormFusion, 和阿尔戈斯的报告写作. 行政管理系统 oversees hosted services such as Touchnet Bill Pay, Jagger E-procurement and Strategic Technology Solutions.

Network, Telecommunications and Technical Support

This office is responsible for managing and supporting all microcomputers, 服务器, networking equipment and operating the Help Desk. They man年龄 the Exchange Server (email), 所有网络服务器, Active Directory服务器, the Network Attached Stor年龄 Server, Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phones, the IDEA Rooms and all microcomputer labs. The Help Desk provides a single point of contact for all technical support issues. NTS is also responsible for managing the RaiderNet portal.

• Maintenance and support of all general computing systems, printers and administrative computing systems.
• Installation and maintenance of all Roane State 社区 College networks.
• Maintenance of all student microcomputer laboratories.
• Short and long range planning, implementation and maintenance of information technology.
• Provide a technology liaison with the Tennessee Board of Regents 信息技术 staff.
• Plan for the regular replacement and upgrade of hardware, 外围设备, software and operating systems used by Roane State 社区 College students, 教职员工.
• Review emerging technology and trends to assess the impact on 信息技术 at Roane State 社区 College.
